Could have been so much better

Extra large size room , with good Air conditioning.Nice large pool with pool bar. Decent location

Not enough loungers by pool, only 2 very old Sun loungers and one umbrella for shade. Had an issue with door not locking properly and also we asked the desk staff to arrange a Taxi for our trip to the airport, the following morning at 0530 no taxi and guy on reception said he didn’t have any taxi numbers. I had to run to the nearest main road and hail a taxi so I didn’t miss flight. In general it was a bit run down.

Staff was not good at all. Pretty sure i booked with breakfast but was embassed when turned up and got refused then found it was expensive so went outside for breakfast

Good

The location was great, the best indian food across the road. The pool bar staff member was really nice, cocktails were good.

The bed was horrible, could feel springs. The accommodation is in need of alot of maintenance. The breakfast was pretty sad. The price we paid was in line with the value we had, it was cheap and we could see why.

we had only 2 nights - it was ok for that, but would not have stayed longer.

It has been a luxury spa resort back in the days, but it needs renovation. Pool not very clean and the area around the pool needs to be upgraded. Staff is doing it best to make it a good stay. good breakfast buffet - only poor point is lack of heaters for the hot dishes.

pool seems not to be maintained correctly- lack of filter and pump etc. Sink in bathroom in reception area not working - reported first day - not fixed during our stay.

two weeks only spoiled by the contemptuous attitude of one staff member.

hardest bed I have ever encountered , on the plus they added mattress covers to try to soften it up a bit. Cleaning staff wonderful, a joy to be greeted by them .

the young Thai man at front counter needs to be moved on to a task better suited to his, ahem ,skills. Like gardening perhaps .

Friendly but a bit tired

The staff (especially Mai at Reception) were wonderfully cheerful and helpful. The location was close to many restaurants and was a reasonable walk to Ao Nang beach.

The hotel is a bit run down, likely due to lack of maintenance during COVID. The pool filtration system was down, resulting in some occasional water cloudiness followed by visits from a pool maintenance service with portable filtration units and manual addition of chemicals. The rooms themselves are quite tired and rough around the edges. The place is generally functional but could really use an update.

Average facilities and stay. 6/10

The property had a huge pool located right outside our room which was great, the pool bar wasn’t open when we stayed here and the pool was a little bit unclean. The room we had was a good size and was cleaned regularly and we always had clean towels which was great.

It was about a 15 minute walk from the property to Ao Nang beachfront. We booked a family room which was supposed to have a double bed and 2 singles, we received 2 single beds and one very uncomfortable bed that was made up last minute. The hotel seemed like it was out of season as it felt a bit run down and quiet. For the price it was ok but I wouldn’t rush to stay here again. The staff were friendly and helpful though so that was great.
